It should be a good thing for students to take up part-time jobs after school and summer jobs, as they can make some money for their study or earn some extra pocket money while gaining some exposure in the society. However, as most of the students are without working experience, they do not have sufficient occupational safety and health knowledge as to make them alert to the dangers or potential dangers at the workplace. As a result, they are susceptible to injuries and accidents or causing damages to their health. Council launches Youth Safety Campaign every year to disseminate the message of safety and health. |
