Certification Examination for Certified Disability Management Professional in Hong Kong

In developed countries, Certified Disability Management Professionals (CDMP) have played a key role in facilitating the disability management program. Workplace-based disability management focuses on returning workers who have been injured or ill to meaningful and productive work. In doing so it reduces the human and social costs to the employee and the financial costs of lost productivity and insurance to the employer.

Disability management professionals and practitioners in Hong Kong now have the opportunity to take a licensing examination and become certified in their profession. The Occupational Safety and Health Council will organize the certification examination for Certified Disability Management Professionals (CDMP) on 30 May. Using an international recognized test protocol, similar examinations have been taken in many countries such as Canada, United Kingdom, Germany and Australia, etc.

For details, please refer to the following application form. The examination date is 30 May 2012 and the deadline for application is 9 May 2012.
