		To encourage benchmarking of good safety and health practice among different trades, organizations with outstanding efforts will be recognized.
		It focuses on promoting safe working cycle, safety of working at height, confined space, and the importance of wearing personal protective equipment. The Construction Safety Day is one of the highlights. The Council organizes a series of promotional activities regularly to remind the general public to pay attention to safety and health while working in high-risk industries.
		The Council organizes Safety Quiz annually which aims at reinforcing the occupational safety and health knowledge of the public.
		The Council organizes wide varieties of promotional activities in different districts in Hong Kong with community-based organizations, individual District Boards, unions and federations.
		Through award presentation to encourage organizations to improve their working environment. The annual Good Housekeeping Day aims to promote the benefits of implementing good housekeeping, which not only enhances productivity, but also arises employees' sense of belongings.
		It aims to remind employees to pay attention to occupational health issues through organizing different promotional activities. The Council hopes through the Occupational Health Day, both employers and employees would concern about common occupational diseases.
		It aims to raise the occupational safety and health awareness of employees engaged in catering trade through mass media promotion, roadshow, workshop, poster and leaflet.
		It aims to remind the employees engaged in high risk industries to do safety precautions before long holiday to avoid the happening of industrial tragedy.
		It focuses on promoting work safety on youth through a series of activity, such as distributing of occupational safety and health kit, and organizing seminar as well as joint youth programme with radio to reinforce the importance of work safety.
		It aims to recruit "OSH Ambassador" to promote good safety and health to the public. Through the training provided by the Council, the OSH Ambassadors could act as a role model with good safety behaviours among their peer groups and family members.
