The festive holidays especially the Lunar New Year holidays are the busiest time in the year for most industries. Past records also show that the pre and post long holiday period is most vulnerable for workplace accidents. To remind all trades and industries the importance of safety before the holidays and to check their workplace thoroughly when they come back to work, the Council launches the Pre & Post Holiday Work Safety Promotional Campaign from December 2011 - February 2012. Publications will be distributed to the organizations free of charge.

Safety alerts will be broadcasted on radio and advertised on MTR trackside and concourse TV; special articles will also be featured in the newspapers and magazine to further disseminate the message to the community.
