We believe OSH education needs to start young and research is a way of active learning. As a mean to encourage more university and post-secondary students to study OSH-related issues, the Council introduced in 1999 the ‘Best Project Award'. Each post-secondary education institution can nominate a maximum of five students. Candidates need to submit their study in the form of a research report or graduation thesis, and write a synopsis of no less than 1,000 words. The assessment is based on the quality, originality and relevance of the report to the occupational safety and health. A maximum of 10 awards are to be awarded each year. Prizes include a certificate and a cash of HK$3,000. The deadline for the Best Project Award is on 30 September this year. Join now to contribute to the improvement of workplace safety and health in Hong Kong!
