Members of the committee consist of experts in occupational safety and health, engineering, chemistry, epidemiology, medicine and social policy. There are also representatives from employers, employees and the government. The Research Committee has three major functions:

Assessment of research proposals submitted by academic institutions or enterprises and allocate research funds accordingly |
