We believe OSH education needs to start young and research is a way of active learning. As a mean to encourage more university and post-secondary students to pursue quality applied research related to OSH issues in their studies and subsidize the expenses incurred in the proposed study , the Council introduced this year the ‘OSH Student Research Scholarship'. Candidates need to submit their study in the form of a research proposal about 1,500 words. The assessment is based on the quality, originality and the potential practicability of the proposal topic related to the occupational safety and health. A maximum of 10 awards are to be awarded each year. Prizes include a certificate and a cash of HK$4,000. The deadline for the OSH Student Research Scholarship is on 30 November this year.
