The Council and Labour Department together with government departments, unions and associations organise "The 24th Construction Safety Forum and Award", which aims to recognize contractors, work site management, safety professionals and frontline workers with outstanding occupational safety and health achievements. This year, the Forum and Award Presentation Ceremony will be held on 12 September 2023 (Tuesday). Shortlisted organizations will share their best practices in OSH to raise the OSH standard in the industry. You are welcome to join and share the valuable experiences with the awardees.

Applicants must provide ID no. and email address to get the attendance statement. A confirmation email with details will be sent to participants enrolled.

The enrolment will be closed on 5 September 2023 (Tuesday). You are welcome to participate.

*Seats are limited and registration will be made by first-come-first-served basis. Please settle full payment within 5 days after receiving the successful enrolled confirmation email. Failure of full payment will result in the cancellation of the seat reservation.

The 24th Construction Safety Award has received over 400 entries. We are pleased to announce the shortlisted entries for the Award. Please click the below link for more details. The on-site assessment and interview will be conducted from 6 June 2023 to 30 June 2023. The shortlisted entries will receive details in due course.

To continuously enhance the safety standard of the construction industry, the Occupational Safety and Health Council organizes the “Construction Safety Promotional Campaign 2023” in collaboration with Government departments and relevant stakeholders from the industry, including organizations, trade associations, and labor unions. Through an array of activities, the Campaign aims at enhancing the awareness of workers about working safely in the construction industry and fostering the culture of occupational safety and health.

The 24th Construction Safety Award will be one of the major activities in the Campaign, the briefing session of the Campaign was held on 24 March 2023 (Friday), OSHC consultant will further introduce the Award in details.

Themes of the year include "Working at Height and Working above Ground Safety", "Lifting Operation Safety" and " Good Housekeeping ". There are different categories of awards to recognize construction companies, management and workers with outstanding occupational safety and health performance, newly introduced “5S Good Housekeeping Best Practices Award”. The awardees and operation team will also get the cash prize!
