To further enhance the occupational safety and health standards in the construction industry, the Council has partnered with the Labour Department to launch “Construction Industry Safety Excellence Award” – a new award that brings together 2 long-standing initiatives: the “Construction Safety Promotional Campaign” and the “Construction Industry Safety Award Scheme”,each of which has served the industry for over two decades. By combining the strengths of both programmes, this new Award sets a higher benchmark for OSH performance and recognises organisations and frontline workers who excel in OSH management and safety practices. Our goal is to foster a stronger safety culture across the construction industry. The Forum and Award Presentation Ceremony will be held on 9 October 2026, during which various awards will be presented. Representatives of shortlisted organisations will also share their valuable experience in implementing workplace safety measures and promoting a safety culture within the construction industry.

A certificate of attendance will be issued for this Forum and Award Presentation Ceremony. Applicants must provide email addresses to get the attendance statement. A confirmation email with detailed information will be sent to successfully registered applicants.

The enrolment deadline is 2 October 2026 (Friday). You are welcome to participate.

Remarks: Due to limited seating capacity, registrations will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and walk-in registrations will not be accepted. Successfully registered applicants will be notified individually by email and must complete payment within 5 days of receiving the notification. Failure to make payment by the deadline will be deemed as an automatic forfeiture of the reserved seat, and the seat may be released to other applicants.

The on-site assessment and interview will be conducted from 9 June to 7 July 2026. The shortlisted entries will receive details in due course.

This year’s themes are "Fall Prevention on Construction Sites", "Safe Operation of Heavy Machinery", and "Good Housekeeping on Construction Sites". There are 9 award categories, with cash prizes for both individual and team awards. Participating sites or projects will receive a giant banner for free to promote work safety and health in the construction industry at their site. Enrol now!
